Handyman in Wendell

An intact old downtown with Wendell Falls built alongside it — two different housing stocks a couple of miles apart.

Old town, new town

Wendell has kept a genuine small-town centre — houses old enough to have real trim, wood floors and porches that have been through several repairs — and has had a large new development built alongside it in Wendell Falls.

The two produce opposite call lists.

In the older streets, the work is repair and matching. Doors that have moved with the frame, trim you cannot buy off a shelf, drywall and plaster that needs to disappear into what is around it, and porches and steps at the age where fasteners give out.

In Wendell Falls and the newer sections, it is finishing work: blinds, TV walls with hidden wiring, shelving and garage storage, accent walls, and the snags left over from the builder walkthrough.

Distance, honestly

Around forty-five minutes from Apex. We cover it, and it works best as one visit with a real list on it. A single small job at that distance is not good value for you, and we would rather say so than take the booking.

Getting a price

Photos and the whole list at once. For older homes include the surrounding trim or texture in the shot, since that is what decides whether a repair is a patch or a matching job.

How to get a price

  1. 01

    Fill in the form

A sentence about the job and the address we would be coming to. Rough measurements help but are not essential — the address is the part we cannot work without.

  2. 02

    Get a number

Most jobs are priced from the form without anyone driving out. Bigger projects get a short visit first, and the estimate is free either way.

  3. 03

    Pick a time

The price is agreed before any work starts. We work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and take urgent jobs when we can.

Working in Wendell — questions

Do you cover Wendell Falls?

Yes. It is newer construction, so the work there is mostly installation — blinds, mounting, shelving, accent walls and post-move-in snags.

Is Wendell too far?

It is about forty-five minutes, the outer edge of our area. It works as a booked visit with several jobs rather than a single quick call-out, and we will tell you straight if a closer handyman is the better answer for what you need.

Free estimate

Tell us what needs doing.

Fill in the form with a sentence about the job and the address. You get a straight price and a real window back, usually the same day you ask.
