Handyman in Cary
A short hop from our base in Apex, and one of the towns we work in most often.
Working across Cary
Cary is big enough that the job list changes noticeably from one side of town to the other. West Cary is largely newer construction, where most calls are installs and upgrades — mounting, fixtures, hardware, assembly. The older sections nearer the town centre lean toward repair and matching work.
What we get called for most
Drywall repair after moves and furniture changes, TV mounting with in-wall cable runs, deck and railing repair, and doors that stick once summer humidity arrives. Larger homes in the newer subdivisions also bring high-ceiling fixture work that needs the right ladder rather than the nearest one.
HOA territory
A good share of Cary sits under active homeowners’ associations with real architectural review. That does not change the work, but it does change the sequence: get approval, then schedule.

How to get a price
- 01
Fill in the form
A sentence about the job and the address we would be coming to. Rough measurements help but are not essential — the address is the part we cannot work without.
- 02
Get a number
Most jobs are priced from the form without anyone driving out. Bigger projects get a short visit first, and the estimate is free either way.
- 03
Pick a time
The price is agreed before any work starts. We work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and take urgent jobs when we can.
Working in Cary — questions
Do you work in the older parts of Cary?
Yes. Homes closer to the older core need a different approach than newer west Cary construction — matching existing trim and texture matters more, and we plan for that rather than defaulting to replacement.
Does my HOA need to approve the work?
Interior work, no. Anything visible from the street — fence, deck, exterior paint colour, storm doors — often does in Cary's managed communities. Check before we schedule so the job is not held up on approval.
