Furniture Assembly & Storage

Flat-pack furniture built square, tight and anchored where it needs to be, plus garage shelving, hooks and closet systems that hold what you actually put on them.

Built right the first time

Flat-pack instructions assume every panel is square and every cam lock seats fully. In practice, an out-of-square carcass is why drawers rub and doors do not line up, and once the back panel is nailed on, square is whatever you left it as.

We build on a flat surface, check square as we go, and snug fasteners in the right order rather than fully tightening each one as it goes in.

Anchoring is not optional

Anything tall gets strapped to framing. It takes a few extra minutes and it is the difference between furniture and a hazard in a house with small children. The straps that come in the box are usually fine; what matters is that the screw ends up in a stud rather than in drywall.

Garage and storage

Wall shelving, hooks and rails for bikes, tools and ladders, overhead racks, workbenches, and closet systems.

The whole point of garage storage is that it holds weight, so all of it goes into framing. Shelving that is only in drywall will hold exactly as long as it takes you to load it. For overhead racks the ceiling joists get located and confirmed before anything is drilled, because that is a fixing you never want to be wrong about.

Getting a price

Send the product page or a photo of the box for furniture, and a photo of the wall or garage for storage. Assembly is one of the easiest things to bundle: several items in one visit costs less than several separate trips, and it clears the minimum comfortably.

Frequently asked

Do you anchor tall furniture to the wall?

Yes, and we recommend it on anything tall: dressers, bookcases and wardrobes. The anchor goes into framing, not just drywall. In a nursery or a kids' room it is the single most important step in the whole build.

What if a part is missing or damaged?

We will tell you exactly which part number to request from the manufacturer, and get everything else assembled so only that one piece is outstanding. You will not be left with a flat pack on the floor waiting for a replacement.

How much weight will garage shelving hold?

That depends entirely on what it is fixed to. Shelving lagged into studs carries real weight; the same shelving on drywall anchors will come down with a box of tools on it. We fix into framing and tell you the honest limit for the system you have bought.

Can you install overhead garage racks?

Yes, into ceiling joists with the run confirmed first. Overhead racks are the one storage item where getting the fixing wrong has genuinely serious consequences, so we take the extra ten minutes to find the joists properly.

How to get a price

  1. 01

    Fill in the form

A sentence about the job and the address we would be coming to. Rough measurements help but are not essential — the address is the part we cannot work without.

  2. 02

    Get a number

Most jobs are priced from the form without anyone driving out. Bigger projects get a short visit first, and the estimate is free either way.

  3. 03

    Pick a time

The price is agreed before any work starts. We work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and take urgent jobs when we can.
