Handyman in Wake Forest
A historic downtown surrounded by two decades of new construction — the two ends of the job list in one town.
Two towns in one
Wake Forest has an intact historic core and, wrapped around it, twenty years of subdivision building. The two produce completely different call lists.
Around the historic downtown, the housing is old enough to need matching rather than replacing. Original trim profiles, doors that have moved with the frame, plaster in places, and porches that have been repaired more than once already. Work here is slower and worth doing properly.
Heritage, Wakefield and the newer developments north and east are production-built and mostly under twenty-five years old. The calls are installation: mounting, blinds, shelving, garage storage, accent walls, and the punch list that survives the builder walkthrough.
Scheduling honestly
Wake Forest is at the outer edge of what we cover, about three quarters of an hour from Apex. That does not mean we will not come — it means it works best as one planned visit covering several jobs rather than a quick single call-out. If your list is one small item, we will tell you honestly that a closer handyman is better value for you.

How to get a price
- 01
Fill in the form
A sentence about the job and the address we would be coming to. Rough measurements help but are not essential — the address is the part we cannot work without.
- 02
Get a number
Most jobs are priced from the form without anyone driving out. Bigger projects get a short visit first, and the estimate is free either way.
- 03
Pick a time
The price is agreed before any work starts. We work 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and take urgent jobs when we can.
Working in Wake Forest — questions
Wake Forest is the far end of your area. Is it worth calling?
It is about forty-five minutes, which is the outer edge of our list, so it is worth being honest about how we schedule it: Wake Forest works best as a booked visit with several jobs rather than a single quick call-out. Send the whole list and we will tell you plainly whether it makes sense.
Do you work on the older homes near downtown?
Yes, and they are the more interesting work. Older Wake Forest homes bring trim, doors and plaster that need matching rather than replacing.
